Thanks for the birthday wishes. On most days, I feel pretty good. I live in the "South" where fat and grease are on most people's plates here. Louisiana is known for its delicious food. My biggest challenge is the state I live in--where celebrating any occasion usually means large amounts of delicious food (prepared by some of the best cooks in the world). I suffer from huge drops in blood sugar--100 to 150 points, at times. It usually just happens when I am trying to do any physical type work--and I have found that the extreme heat and humidity here causes my sugar to rise drastically and then fall. So, i would say my location has been the biggest challenge for me over the last 6 years.

@chocolate5lover Oh no! Here I am about to head south for a quick vacation and I hear that! I will have to try hard to be good. Of course there is a lot of very fatty food everywhere these days. Up here in the northeast fried seafood is popular, but alas, I no longer eat it.

I love your name, I too am a chocolate lover. I generally have a piece of dark chocolate in the morning. My excuse is that it's good for my heart and since I can't drink red wine the chocolate will have to do.
