Hello @chocolate5lover and @susu2🎈

Happy birthday to you both and congratulations on the good job you have done controlling your blood sugar levels.

If you care to share, can you tell me how you are feeling? Also, what has been the biggest challenge for you in developing a diabetes-friendly lifestyle?

Thanks for the birthday wishes. On most days, I feel pretty good. I live in the "South" where fat and grease are on most people's plates here. Louisiana is known for its delicious food. My biggest challenge is the state I live in--where celebrating any occasion usually means large amounts of delicious food (prepared by some of the best cooks in the world). I suffer from huge drops in blood sugar--100 to 150 points, at times. It usually just happens when I am trying to do any physical type work--and I have found that the extreme heat and humidity here causes my sugar to rise drastically and then fall. So, i would say my location has been the biggest challenge for me over the last 6 years.
