I had the same or similar test a few years ago. You drink contrast at the imaging place and they scanned me swallowing it, At that time I was also had esophagitis. Then I waited a while in waiting area, then brought back in and they watched it going through the intestines. It reminded me of dark packing peanuts. I can't remember what the name of the test was though. Very interesting to watch!

@thull I think that might be called a Small Bowel Study. It is a lengthy procedure and interesting!
