Just wanted to thank you for describing your reaction. I had my first Shingrix shot 11/14. Very fatigued for 3 days, ok with that. But then whenever I walked or stood, it felt like the floor or ground was rocking/bouncing under me. Friends said my walk did not appear unusual. It felt like trying to balance when walking on a boat going over rough waves. Nurse practitioner via tele-med visit prescribed AntiVert and exercises, but no improvement. The “ rocking floor” sensation and balance problems continued for weeks, only lessened 12/12. The pharmacist denies this had any connection to Shingrix. I would like the drug manufacturer and medical providers to be open to considering if this effect might be related to the Shingrix vaccine. I am afraid that a second shot may cause damage.
I had the original vaccine and had terrible pain. Went to E.R. and was told I had Shingles. I said I just got the Shingles shot and was told I could still get it but it woulf be milder. I read the initial vaccine was discontinued because some people had gotten shingles after receiving the vaccine. I will not be getting any further shots for this after my last experience.
I had the first dose of shingles vaccine, yesterday, and I feel terrible today! It began with a headache yesterday evening. The headache continues even with ibuprofen and acetaminophen. I also have fatigue, body aches and a slight fever. I am not looking forward to the second dose, but will do it, as shingles sounds far worse.
I also took the shingles vaccine yesterday. Today I'm extra tired muscle aches, and a headache. I have all of the side effects
