Partial knee replacement

I had a partial knee replacement Nov 29, 2017. At my 6 wk follow up I was threatened with a manipulation if I didn't get better range of motion in a month. My PT was then ramped up to 3x/wk, and included excruciating bending and straightening of my knee. I did finally (not until almost 6 months post op) get better range of motion. Unfortunately, I'm still having quite a bit of pain. I'm still in PT, and no one can figure out why I'm in so much pain. To add to my problems, I had been on diclofenac (NSAID like ibuprofen) to help with the pain, which it did, it made it bearable, but caused me to have a stomach ulcer and other GI issues so I can no longer take it. My family doctor prescribed tramadol for me to help, and is referring me to a pain specialist. I tried to get in with a different ortho group (UW Madison), but they won't schedule me until it has been a full year. I wish my insurance would cover Mayo, but I would have to pay out of pocket, which I can't do.
