@fourof5zs Oh, I hope they can get to your thumb soon. I was able to finally schedule my CMC surgery for mid-June This surgery center asks you to isolate for 2 weeks, does a Covid-19 test 3 days before surgery, then you stay isolated until the procedure. Not that we're going anywhere anyway, being in several risk categories.
So I walk, stay busyin garden and sewing room, visit neighbors across the yard, and occasionally the kids and grands from the driveway...and try to stay positive.

Me too. I am so tired of the pain. Writing.. even on the dry erase board.. which doesn't take much pressure.. is very painful. I think the CMC surgery part is healing okay and hopefully my other thumb will be okay. I do feel some pain at the base of it and more so since I have had to use it more.

I took the covid test a couple of weeks ago and we are okay right now. They told me I have to take the test again a few days before surgery. We are still having new cases here and deaths. Our county is a hotspot.. but is cooling some. 134 deaths since this started.. I don't remember how many positive test in all. 50 new cases, I think about 50 in hospital and 4 deaths this week. So surgery will depend on what the virus does. They have opened the hospital for elective surgery now, but this surgery will be done at the ortho group's surgery center.
