Also taking Xanax (approx .50-.75 mg daily to help. I feel like I’m going CRAZY-not myself at all-don’t tell me to go back on the Lexapro cause it did nothing for me to begin with that is why I am getting off. I’m so sorry you’re going thru this. Your symptoms are exactly what I was experiencing. I never left the house, no interest in things, etc. come to find out I was over medicated on top of my severe depression. I finally found a psychiatrist who looked at me and said You’re a mess! You’re totally over medicated! He weaned me off 3 meds, one being Lexapro. He started me on Cymbalta. It’s a night and day difference! I also take Remeron but I’m going off it due to weight gain and severe hunger feelings. What meds have you tried? I’m not going to sit here and tell you to go outside, read a book, etc. Those people who told me that drove me crazy! I will tell you I’m here to chat anytime you need to.

Go to a regular Dr or a homeopath dr and have them check your thyroid & hormones. Look up Kelly brogan & read her blog. You may have a medical condition causing the depression and not actual depression. Do you ever exercise. I can’t get through life without exercising. It clears my head and decreases my anxiety. Also, watch out for inflammatory foods like sugar, gluten, diary. Don’t drink more than a cup of coffee a day. Eat your red meat... hope this helps!
