Anyone have Pain in hip flexors, thighs, knees?
Where in your feet and legs do you experience pain due to neuropathy? Anyone else having intense pain that seems to travel between hip flexors, knees and thighs?

Hi, @steeldove — I applaud your trying to find other members whose experiences with neuropathy closely mirror yours. Those members will likely have the very most to contribute as you experience pain traveling between your hip flexors, knees and thighs.
I would like you to connect with, if you've not met previously, these members who have mentioned neuropathy symptoms in similar regions, like @booperlaw50 @willym @crystalgal @cahnny @scribebob @rpierro and @charly. Hoping they can tell you about what has happened with them with neuropathy in their hip flexors, knees or thigh regions. I'm thinking that @johnbishop may also have some input for you.
@steeldove — have you found any tricks or tips that provide some relief for you with your neuropathy?
Hi @steeldove -- I have pain in my right knee and the tendons/bones (?) in the right leg but the pain is not associated with my small fiber PN. I only have numbness with the PN. Mild exercise and specific stretching exercises have helped me a little with the pain but not a lot. I found some knee pre-surgery exercises to strengthen the leg muscles and I've been working on them. My right knee has advanced severe degenerative arthritis and I'm waiting for an appointment later this month with a knee specialist.

I sleep a total of three hrs a nite as I have the sensations of needles in my thighs and feet which is terrible painful....I hate going to bed knowing what is ahead of me. it all started after I had my laminectomy and fusion for stenosis ten yrs ago...........
You might want to try seraquil at 50 or 100 mg just at bed time. It is an anti-psychotic which at low doses causes you to sleep. I'm not a doctor but as I understand it, it is not a sleeping pill and is not addictive. It works kind of like the medicine in Nyquil. I wasn't sleeping due to pain all over and "zappers" that I'd get at night, but this knocked me out, but I can wake up if need be, have no morning fog. One more off-market drug!
For what it’s worth I take an ice pack to bed to put my feet on so I can sleep sometimes though my toes will cramp
Yikes! Not for me! My feet already feel like their ice cold, even though they're really not cold when I touch them.
I, too, am getting to that point of hating going to bed because I don't know if it's going to be several hours of pain in my legs. Oddly, at about 4 a.m. the pain seems to calm down.
STEELDOVE.....I EMPATHIZEWITH YOU EXACTLY...I HAVE THE VERY SAME PROBLEM WITH THE NEEDLES AT NITE..I HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING AND NOTHING SEEMS TO HELP. WHEN I HAVE MY CORTISONE SHOT FOR MY BACK EVERY 3 MOS. IT SEEMS TO EASE UP THE PAIN IN MY LEGS TEMPORARILY....NOT FUN....JAN
STEELDOVE.......I usually wake at three or four and stay awake til morning, shifting my legs every way possible to alleviate the pain....it all started after my stenosis surgery in 2009.......I had nothing but trouble after that and for the last ten yrs..........
I take a low dose Ativan at nite and it helps for a few hours....never heard of seraquil, but I have to be careful what I take as I am on xeralto the rest of my life for my atrial fib...........jan
