@kamama94 I am so sorry to hear that your eGFR dropped like this. Do you have any insight into why this may have happened? My prayers remain with you. I have held off on a kidney transplant and dialysis for 6 years. So far I am holding steady, but had a severe drop last January. I know it was from too much indulgence during the holidays and have been able to get back to where I was last year. Hopefully you feel better after you start dialysis.
Well rats, @kamama94! So regret this sudden drop in your GFR numbers and know that whatever plans you and neph discuss at your next appointment, you will approach the next steps with the same bravery and diligence you've exhibited to all of us on this uncertain CKD journey. Sending you continued prayers and cyber strength as you plan ahead. Please let us know how the visit goes and remember your many friends here are rooting for you so keep us in the loop, ok? Hugs to you!
@kamama94, Isn't that an incredibly fast drop for your eGFR values? Any possible clue as to what may have triggered this sudden change? I am so hoping that you'll report back soon following your appointment so your large network of Connect friends can support you as you have strengthened so many of us. Sending you positive vibes, prayers and additional warrior tools as you embark on this next plan of action.
@kamama94 - prayers an positive vibes are on the way.
I know you have diligently and faithfully worked and hoped to delay dialysis as long as possible. And you have done so with an inspiring attitude. I am confident that whatever your future holds will be dealt with in the same manner.
