I'm reading in different sources the same as what you say, that a downward egfr indicates a decline in kidney function. This is why I was in a panic, seeing that I lost 8 points within a few months from December. I'm really uneasy about this but knowing that is the case I can't rest easy and really need some answers from a doctor as to why it's happening. But just thinking back to the day of the last draw, it was an unusual day when everyone was just starting to get on board with new COVID precautions. Maybe the stress caused my decline but also I had a pretty serious fall the previous day and maybe that has something to do with the drop. In any case, it means staying knowledgeable is the good medicine Thanks for your help! Take care and be safe!
@ausie, you are correct. I was thinking of a different test. I rechecked my test results to be sure. Normal efgr for non black is 60 or above. I apologize for the misunderstanding.
