@deankmn, @mikecranny, @johnbishop So sorry. I was researching an artist and didn't pay attention. Thanks for covering for me John. And for you, @deankmn I can see that you have a specific agenda and a path to lead the way. My opinion is that the medical cannabis industry has come a long way. Yes, the regulatory program in CA is more developed than that in MN. However, that process was not done in a compassionate manner. After the recreational vote and subsequent implementation, all products had to be recycled for regulatory issues and often repackaged. So for about 6 months, we, as medical clients, suffered inadequate, if any, inventory. Dispensaries in unincorporated areas were driven away and cities immediately tacked on new taxes that made the prices skyrocket. It has settled somewhat now. Keep searching and then keep sharing so that we can learn from you. Have a lovely evening. Chris

@artscaping If one travels to CA and tries to access their system to get some of the various CBD products requiring prescription do you have to have CA doctor prescription or is a MN doctor able to write prescription that is honored in CA? Thanks for this info as due to the unending chase for insurance and doctors in our annual system I am starting with a new doctor soon and I would like to ask him about providing such a prescription.

@deankmn, You no longer need a prescription to purchase any cannabis product in CA.....just have to be 21 years of age with a CA driver's license or approved ID. At least, I think these are the requirements. I am sure you can find out more of the particulars on the CA state website. https://cannabis.ca.gov/cannabis-regulations/
At some dispensaries, if you do seek and receive a physician's referral, you get a discount. Don't quite know why or who is paying who? Hope that helps. Good night. Chris
I live in Canada and have been using CBD oil derived from cannabis for about a year. I have given it a fair try to no avail, but unfortunately don't know if a higher dosage would provide relief because I cannot afford any more than 2 ml per day. This costs me $100 every 20 days at that rate. There are umpteen 'medical cannabis' providers available, but the costs are very similar at this point. There is a movement towards at least partial coverage under the Ontario Health Insurance Plan, and some private insurers are starting as well, but not mine.

Not true for California. We all have access to CBD, hemp is legal in the entire USA. Clean, organically grown, 2 ingredient CBD oil.
www dot hempworx dot com / cbdlebrity I can help you, just message me. CBD has changed my life and it is absolutely NOT a drug, it will not get you high. Just enter "endocannaboid system" into your favorite search engine.

CBD is short for Cannabidol.
