@gingerw

As auties, we see things in very linear, black and white fashion. Today is a prime example. Over the last several months I made contact with someone in the closest big town that shares a Zentangle passion. She made plans and arrangements to come today so that we could do some artwork together. Her comment was she would be here by noon. It is 4 hours later, with no communication with her, and no idea if she is okay. I have time issues, that is true. But I find it very disrespectful to not have communicated with me. I gave her my cell number and she has my email. I am working very hard at not taking this personally, but at this moment it's hard not to. There were other things set aside to meet with her today. It helps to have vented to you all and my sincere apologies for whining. As I would say to a friend, "would you like some cheese with that whine?"

@gingerw I think most of us would feel as you do. To not show up after agreeing to is certainly impolite, to say the least. I hope the rest of your day goes better! I'll take cheddar with my whine!
