Hello @littleonefmohio

Outside of sleep aids and some supplements that are marketed for depression, I'm really not familiar with OTC products that are used for anxiety. Is there any supplement or product in particular that you are considering?

@hopeful33250 No Teresa, I had just noticed an ad for OTC products for anxiety and was wondering if anyone tried them.

As I have been reducing and removing some of my depression/anxiety meds, I have been researching this subject a little. I don't know anything from personal experience, but the ones that have actually had a bit of scientific study attached to them are, St. John's Wort (any of these should be discussed with at least your PCP, but this one especially - interacts with a lot of things and can raise BP significantly). Valerian Root, Passion Flower, Magnesium, and one other I can not remember. I don't know why, but I think I would avoid any product that has been "formulated" for anxiety relief. If you have a pharmacist that you have a good relationship with, I would expect that to be a great resource. If anyone knows of, or has experience, with any natural remedy, please tell us about it.
