@parus

@grandmar Thanks for sharing. The only one of the 6 I can do is boost my immune system by eating healthy. This grandma cannot attend things with my grandchildren. At least I can still take care of myself and not be a burden on my children. This is an accomplishment!!! May not have lots of money or material things, but I have a lot of love.
I keep reading about how others are upset because they cannot get the pain meds they need. I am thankful I did NOT get them as I have seen the suffering of many no longer getting them. Hard to miss something I have not had...
I believe we all do the best we can and in some cases the best we know how...As for me my little self I do the best I can.
I do still plant some flowers as they brighten my patio. The hummingbirds are happy and so am I.
Some of what greets me in the morning.
Anyone reading thus have a blessed day. Each day I am alive is a blessing for me.

@parus Im glad you can still see and hear the humming birds IN Pa I had A mobile home and had feeders also bird and for hummingbirds I so enjoyed them but I live in a sr. building now without grass or birds that I use to see the Robins, blue jays red birds, and warblers but I do have birds here that greet me in morning to am thankful for them. One thing we all have is our memory banks to rely on and remember how it was . I had 3 acres a garden and I canned I don't do as much canning anymore but do put some vegetable soup up at times. Yes am thankful for getting up in morning and able to do what I can. This overshadows the pain. have a great day Linda

@parus I don't have any hummers right now as my feeder broke and I cannot afford to replace it. My other feeders have been attracting cardinals and red wing blackbirds. Do you enjoy the songbirds?
I can identify some birds by their song!

@sandytoes You bet I enjoy songbirds and all other birds!!! Sorry about your hummer feeder. I have had the same one for 10+ years and paid $5 for it. I so enjoy the early morning predawn listening to the birds wake up-The Robins are the neighborhood wake-caller's. I don't have much cover for birds, but still have a large variety of woodpeckers and song birds as well as a pair of Red Shoulder Hawks. Yes, an avid birder just no longer traveling to do so. Right now the House Wrens have young. How a bird so small as the Wren can have such a big voice still amazes me. The Cornell University site is my favorite. Good way to learn the calls/songs of birds.
