@asdf That's great that your GERD is almost gone, and losing weight is a giant bonus, or at least it would be for me. I had not heard of either of your sources but your doctor must be very pleased with your results.
I just googled SIRT and it is not proven yet to be any better than any low-calorie diet but it doesn't wound harmful and if it helps and is something that you can follow it is probably good. The caveat was that after ending the diet plan, weight is easily gained back so you do need to plan for that next phase.

Sirt diet doesn’t leave out acidic foods which are harmful to us Barrett people. Grapes are very acidic.
