After reading everything here I’m so angry with my add and myself. In 2017 when they found the “Barrett’s”, I had so much going on, within a 3 month time frame we adopted 2 granddaughters that we had been fighting for for over 2 years, the baby had heart surgery, I had a hysterectomy followed by a blood clot and finally closing my business. My Dr did not tell me how serious this could be and I was so consumed by life and the 4 kids I had at home that I just ignored it. With 3 years passing and so many symptoms that point to this I am really scared what we will find on Tuesday. Sorry for the novel, I’m just obsessing over this.

When I was first diagnosed with Barrett's my Dr. Put me on a ppi protonix and said low acid diet from now on. Don't panic, just change your diet. I eat baked chicken, turkey, steamed fresh broccoli,Brussels sprouts, carrots, spinach, cauliflower, avoid all high fructose corn syrup, avoid fast food and fried foods. No pepper or hot sauces.I think I would look for a new GI Dr.
