Barretts was found about 8 years ago. Endoscopies every 2-3 years. Do not like taking Nexium because worried about my bones and nutrition.

I take 40 MG of Nexium's generic twice a day.I also take vitamin D3 which suppose to help with calcium absorption. So far my calcium level's are fine, but each person is different.

Wow that is a heavy dose of nexium. But I could never tell that it made that much difference whether I took it or forgot it. Can you tell a difference if you miss a dose? I was concerned about long time affects since I have taken omerprszole for ten years. But I guess it must be necessary. I also tske D3.

Yes,I can tell when I miss a dose.

I changed from omeprazole after 10 years to Pantaprozole which is not nexium. I don’t know whether there is much difference. I like this smaller pill better. Any comments in which is prescribed most and why?
