@techi - CRP is a non-specific inflammatory marker that indicates inflammation anywhere in your body, but does not tell you where. Learn more at LabTestsOnline .org and search CRP (or any of the tests below).

For kidney stones/kidney function, your urinalysis results will be the most informative (look for blood, nitrites, ketones); you also might see abnormalities in BUN or creatinine levels in blood.

For liver function, blood levels of ALT, AST and bilirubin can be indicators.

A blood test for Lactate Dehydrogenase isoenzymes can help pinpoint where organ damage is occurring if it's uncertain.
