My doctor prescribes a cream called ketoprofen. it has ibuprofen in it which I can't take because I take Celebrex. it feels good putting it on and it eases pain. I can't use it on my wrapped leg but I can use it on the other it's not a total cure it's not a total answer but it does help.. I'll bet there's an over the counter equivalent.

I use Volteran gel on my hands for arthritis. I'm pretty sure it has NSAIDS. When I need it and use it, it helps.
