@kariulrich I fell asleep soon after my last post, and i just came back from school. I have experienced the pain yet again randomly in class.I didnt tell my parents about my anxiety yet because they already seem annoyed and call me a hypochondriac. Also i forgot to mention the pain has been happening almost every day for like a month now.

Hi @kromp, I'm glad you were able to finally fall asleep last night.

Please note that the Mayo Clinic Connect Terms of Use state: "You acknowledge that you are 13 years of age or older, and, if under the age of 18, are using this web site under the supervision of a parent, legal guardian, or other responsible adult." https://connect.mayoclinic.org/terms-of-use/

Therefore we suggest that it is very important that you speak to a trusted adult about the anxiety and the pains you are experiencing. Can you talk to a trusted teacher, or a guidance counsellor, nurse or social worker at school?

@kromp I am so happy to hear you were able to sleep! I understand that you might be hesitant to tell your parents, but as a parent I would want to know. Another resource is a trusted teacher at school or the school nurse. I know it is difficult, but you are very articulate and can express your thoughts well. Symptoms are difficult to navigate, they are real and they need to be addressed by a team of people. Parents may seem annoyed, but most of the time they are hurting because you are hurting and we don't always express things the way we should. We can be of a support here, but we cannot diagnosis or get you the proper healthcare you deserve. Let me know when you have reached out to a trusted adult, ok? You got this!
