Thank you so much for your response Margaret .. I too have a cough and terrible chest pain, as well as the spasms, and have great difficulty swallowing, as you've said even water sometimes is a challenge .. I’m hoping this will disappear once I’ve had the op. I was really concerned about the after feelings whilst eating , as I have been advised that my oesophagus will be paralysed. Im so glad you’re well again. How long did it take for you to feel “normal” again ??
