I too have been treated for ab wall pain. Have had right upper ab pain going on 5 years and have had every test possible. All negative. The pain dr performed trigger point injections to no avail. My next course of action is a MRI of the thoracic spine to see if the pain is being generated from the spine. Can I ask how your pain feels? Stabbing? Aching? Burning? For now I am on Tramadol and gabapentin for pain control; however they come withy their own side effects and after 5 years have become less effective in pain control. I've researched everything I can think of so hearing what someone else has done is helpful.

I've had thoracic spine MRI also and even though I do have degenerative discs, I have been told that there is no possible connection with my pain on left side of abdomen. I have sharp stabbing pain. I have oxycodone pills from years ago due to knee, shoulder surgeries but try not to take them because I don't want to get hooked on them. In the meantime, after being an extremely active person all my life, I find myself in bed many days and am not able to do anything. Very depressing for me. I don't know if I will go for a third shot under ultrasound, I want to see if anyone has gone for surgery to take care of problem.

Hello I am so glad I found this group of people sharing their stories. Over 4 months ago I started having this horrific pain It has stopped me from eating and I have been given sooo many different drugs that didn't even begin to touch the pain It truly does feel like a rooter-reuter along with a burning fire that shoots right up my throat and to the point the food i eat sometimes comes up that far.
I have been scoped everywhere and they say no acid reflux was found. The last place I have recently been is a Hospital in Baltimore and they feel it is nerve entrapment or damage and they have been giving me a drug that is to work as a nerve blocker.. I thought at first is was helping but now it seems the pain is winning even though I am still taking the drug protriptyline This is new approach for me So far possibly a bit of help but not convinced yet
