LEG PAIN
I have numerous types of leg pains (lower leg, thigh, upper thigh); lower back pain (coccyx); knee problems. I'd like to start reviewing Discussions relative to each type pain, but do not know how to start. Some of my problems date back 40 years, some 10 years and others fairly recent. I have researched the internet but can't come up with the right answers. Any suggestions, please?

Your posting is confusing..You want to start reviewing discussions to each type of pain (WHY?) And you have researched the net but can't come up with the right answers? What answers are you looking for and how do you know the answers aren't right? What is your purpose for needing this info? Are you writing a term paper, keeping a journal? What is the information for and what do you want to do with it? If you can be more specific maybe you'll get an answer. Good Luck
Hello @shoregal45,
Are you wondering how to search Mayo Clinic Connect for the discussion topics you listed in your post? Are you replying and posting primarily by email? If you go to connect.mayoclinic.org (or click VIEW & REPLY on this email notification), there is a search function that should help you get started searching Connect for discussions on the topics above.
How to search Connect:
- Go to the site on a browser (on your computer or smartphone/tablet/device)
- At the top of screen, click on the magnifying glass symbol located next to your profile picture in the top right of the screen
- Type your search words or topics - try different combinations because results are based on discussion topics that were created by members
- Once you search you can narrow the results on the right side of the screen based on types - check the boxes that are relevant to what you want to look for (groups, discussions, members, etc.)
@shoregal45, the search function may be confusing to use at first, so feel free to ask questions. Keep in mind that results may not yield what you are looking for because the results are entirely based on what discussions have been created by Connect members. If you were unable to find what you were looking for on the internet, it may also prove to be difficult here on Connect. I hope this helps.
I think I know exactly what you are talking about. Just this morning I decided to check this forum to find a solution for my severe thigh, hip, knee, sacrum (coccyx) pain. My pain which starts at the hip and down the sides of both legs and knees wakes me up during the night and the only relief I can get is to turn on my back and straighten my legs our in front of me. I have a hard time trying to sleep on my back so every time I unconsciously turn on my side the pain starts again. I did get an MRI which showed L5S1 facet joint arthritis (that's the sacrum). I've scoured the internet and don't come up with much information. Doctors are not very helpful. They just want to get you in and get you out. So the pain remains and I have no real solutions. Please let me know if you have found any reliable information.
You can do the following things to cure your leg pain:
