I think it's maybe normal šŸ™ I am 5 months post OP and still have daily heartburn, nausea and constant gas and bloating.I cannot eat without probiotics and gas X šŸ™ They help somewhat. I am 65

I had mine out on 1-15-19 ( my story is just a few above yours- Iā€™m new here) I was ā€œokayā€ for the first week but I had kept with the bland diet bc I was scared to eat regular food. One week post-op, I was nauseous, very fatigued, weak, etc and itā€™s been like that ever since. Iā€™ve not been able to work and I rarely go out alone for fear of being sick in public and someone calling rescue. Iā€™ve been to gastroenterologist and had endoscopy which located some irritation in my stomach and they gave me medicine to take for that. Other than that, it was negative for cancer and celiac. I had an abdominal CT scan to check for abnormalities and it was clear as well. Labs only showed slightly elevated liver enzymes. Iā€™m now 6 weeks post op (tomorrow) and feel a tiny bit better due to nausea meds but am still fighting fatigue. I donā€™t have heart burn or acid reflux thankfully but probably bc they put me on Zantac 300mg at night. Said they hoped it would be a temporary med but we will see. Supposedly just taking it til my Stacy irritation healed. I still prefer bland foods as my old favorites taste bitter or burnt.
