The PEth test has no oversight or regulation. Not only is it of unknown validity but the lack of accountability makes it a test that is able to be abused and I am hearing from several individuals each week who report these tests are being manipulated in professional health programs involving nurses, doctors and medical students. Given the stories are all similar, involve the same patterns of lab fraud and most palpably believable it can be reasonably inferred the same type of misconduct is occurring in family courts and the criminal justice system. Massachusetts State Auditor Suzanne Bump officially began an audit of the state medical boards physician health and compliance attorneys who are deeply involved in this misconduct and the auditor has been provided with concrete evidence of the fraud which can be seen below and we need to make sure these specific issues are directly addressed transparently andmon their merits. There is nothing seen in the Annie Dookhan crime-lab scandal that is as clearcut and obvious as the lab misconduct that is occurring with the PEth ( and EtG) tests. The matter needs to be exposed before more are harmed and that is occurring daily.
