@dmarks, If you are talking to Cowgirlmt, she had a positive for a. mycobacterium intracellulare by a bronchioscope.
I'm not sure who you're asking here? This is Rona, who's going to meet Dr. Mitchell. My Doc at Stanford, Dr Ruoss, had me tested over a year ago w. 3 sputum cultures and a 6 week wait of culturing it out, to determine which MAC I have. It's intracellulare. I assumed that's how he figured what drugs to put me on.
