It’s difficult for me to stand in one spot especially barefoot and on a hard surface. My legs get stiff and ache. When I sit or lean on a wall, the nerves in my legs calms down.

@ramfc Welcome to Mayo Connect. Standing barefoot on hard surfaces is not what our feet are intended to do. And as we age, it can become even more difficult.
Do you also have spine or joint issues?
