@bbk186 there’s no cure. He started Plaquenil 6/5/2026 but it takes 6 months maybe a year to really work. Colchicine is the go to but it didn’t work for me. I’m taking Celebrex which helps but at 72 years old you have to be careful. Ibuprofen is a wonder drug but has consequences. My CPPD is chronic which means I don’t swell up like some do so I was dismissed. I Also have osteoarthritis which is a subcategory of sorts for CPPD. I would talk directly to the doctor ordering the X-ray because I asked a tech once to look for the crystals and they ignored I’ve found only one rheumatologist that even knows what it is. Let us know.
