@formergardener hi.yes, my ENT Dr did a culture …he swabbed the inside of my left nostril and sent the swab to the lab .. it came back as Pseudomonas colonized . Then shortly after he had a CT scan done . It also showed opaque rather than black which means healthy . I’m scheduled for sinus surgery this Wednesday and he feels that he will be able to eradicate the bacteria . Last year and early this year I had infections and I was treated with IV antibiotics , one 14 days and the other 21 days.
At 85 years old I am happy to finally get this all behind me . I do have to go under general Anesthesia however I trust my team and look forward to success. Thanks for sharing !
