Recovery from one ADT shot?

@ken1969 Your ADT therapy has effectively been for 18 months and will probably be for the rest of your life unless you take action. That would be okay for an advanced metastatic case but is over kill for prostate confined disease. Might be time to discuss an ADT vacation with your current or new doctors. Normally, this is a stop of ADT drugs but for you it is starting TRT. Both PSA and testosterone need to be closely monitored. It is normal to have a bounce once testosterone is restored. PSA of .5 or less is probably ok. If PSA continues to increase it means the cancer is still active and more treatment (PSMA PET scan to look for metastasis) is required.
>> Gynecomastia stops and may shrink but is unlikely to go back to normal.
>> Unless doing penile rehab getting erections back may not happen. Fibrosis of blood vessels occurs and the longer it has been the more damage is done. Can still use trimix injections, etc. since libido will return with testosterone even if ability does not.

@jim18 One shot May 9th of 2025 is the only ADT I had. My PSA is 0.10 so I'm good there. You and the rest have given me much to try and persuade doctors with. Thanks
