Hi All, I have a 4.3 cm Ascending Aortic Aneurysm (I also had a 5.0 aneurysm repaired with open heart surgery 20 years ago.) and there is an Aortic Aneurysm Support Group on the Mayo site that I find extremely helpful. It's filled with lots of information and patient experiences. I'm sure you will find much of the information you're seeking in the group posts. But, of course, talking with your Cardiologist is extremely important. Btw, I've been told that a CT Scan with Contrast is very reliable and the most commonly used tool to assess aortic health.

While your measurements might not be serious now, there are things you can do to help prevent them from becoming serious. I hope this helps.
