Very cool, Brian. 😎

I was one of the millions that got caught up in the USPSTF about face on PSA screening back in 2012. PCP's stopped ordering PSA testing and insurance companies stopped paying for routine screening. Ignored it for years especially after my wife got lung cancer. Stage IVB now indicates that was a big mistake.

@mjp0512 Being initially diagnosed with localized, low-grade prostate cancer in April 2012, I wasn’t subject to those 2012 USPSTF screening guidelines (https://www.uspreventiveservicestaskforce.org/uspstf/recommendation/prostate-cancer-screening-2012).

However, in the years leading up to that, my workplace insurance would only cover PSA screening tests every other year. I recall on two occasions I paid the $20 out-of-pocket; I figured it was a worthwhile investment in myself.
