I had a NNS RARP in the summer of 2024. I had a BCR on my first PSA following surgery. My PSADT was 2.1 months. At 90 day following surgery I started 40 sessions of IMRT to my prostate bed and a newly identified metastatic lymph node. I was also placed on Orgovyx and Daraludimide for a minimum of 2 years. I was initially very incontienent, but things improved somewhat such that I was using 1-3 pads per day at 6 months post surgery. I had had an ankle replacement the summer of 2023. Bone demineralization caused by the androgen deprivation therapy and the androgen pathway inhibitor caused my talus to develop a 1" diameter cyst below the talus component, so the ankle collapsed. I had revision surgery complete in mid-April 2026 with a new a titanium 3D printed talus. After surgery, I developed a severe urinary tract infection. A nurse had a hard time starting a catheter and kept poking around. As a result of the infection and/or the attempted catheterization, my incontience worsened significantly and I now use 4-5 large night time pads a day. I also use a pad on my bed and I use a penis clamp when out in public. I have wet my pants 4 time in the past month and I am tired of it! I am scheduled for my new AUS on December 1, 2026. The ADT and AR have been brutal on my physical and mental health - truly sucking my life away! I have my fingers crossed that this goes right and improves my life. But remember all the advise from so many folks, prostate cancer is no big deal!

Wish you the best with the AUS. Had mine installed June 4 and activated July 10. It is a complete life change from 6 years of incontinence. Don’t have to wear black pants all the time. Can travel without a load of pads.
