Yes, thanks for your input : ) - but @tattodice had surgery and no ADT treatment which is completely different scenario.

It is well known fact that ADT can have lasting effect on man's testosterone production and for some T never returns to pre- treatment levels.

This person had T going down by just having a surgery and I did not know that surgery can have effect on T level. It had zero effect on my husband's T level so I was surprised to find out that it is actually something that can happen. For that reason I did some further reading and discovered that surgery itself (RP) can indeed effect T levels too.

I guess we learn new things every day.

BTW- @tattodice is 60 year old.

@surftohealth88 Thank you, and yes, I fully understood that the OP had surgery (not radiation). I was just adding the anecdotal "rebound" information, from the perspective of a radiation patient. I guess in retrospect, I should have made an effort to better clarify that fact. 👍

Yes, I agree. Data I have seen is that about 50% of men will not recover normal levels of testosterone after ADT treatment. The older you are the more likely you are to have no or inadequate recovery. I have also seen a study that indicates that men with low testosterone have a 40% reduction in life span over a 10-year span.
