Seven weeks after my prostatectomy, I had my first PSA test and it was <.1. It was well over 10 at surgery time.
Yes, it is possible that he had not waited long enough, but having it be a 1 After six weeks, is a little high. Yes, waiting a little longer makes sense to see what future test show, but I would expect the PSA to have been lower.

@readandlearn yeah the Dr ordered a PSA test on the day I saw her. But I trust she knows what she is doing. My level was over 18 before surgery.
