I was 51 when diagnosed withe an aneurysm of 4.2cm. two years later I asked my doctor to check it again because I wanted to do more running. At age 53 I was diagnosed with a 4.8 aneurysm. My doctor said stop running and scheduled a surgery. That is now 13 years ago. I am active and run 6 days a week for about an hour.
I think for women it is important to have surgery when it is 5cm (The Netherlands) or when in your case the increase in two years is .8cm. Especially if aneurysms are diagnosed in your family.
