@barbwith3cats oh my goodness that is so great. I am so happy to hear that it went well for you andthank you for your inspiring reply. I have been so stressed out because everything I’m reading says that it’s a lot harder to recover from the reversal. I am 64 years old. I don’t know if age matters, but I am in pretty good shape for my age. I keep reading that it takes time for your bowels to start working properly again and that sometimes it can take six months to a year before feeling normal again so I have been a little stressed out about that although I am grateful that I am able to get the reversal. Thank you again for your response 🫶🏽

@beckyrpsiagnosis when I had the reversal I was 62. I didn’t have much trouble getting my bowels back in shape. The first month was a learning curve because you have to relearn feeling the urge to go. I was able to eat anything I wanted within a few months and regained my weight. (I had lost 40 lbs). You should look forward to the reversal and be kind to yourself along the way. It’s a gift to have the choice of having the reversal. Hang in there.
