@friend777 how frustrating to have made that long drive just to be rescheduled. I'm sorry that happened. hang in there - the right doctor is worth the wait. watch out for YT - once you watch a certain kind of video, it will keep suggesting similar ones, whether they are accurate or not. there are some helpful channels provided by NIH cancer centers and a few lung cancer orgs like Go2 for lung cancer.

but honestly - if something is giving you severe anxiety, just step away from it. focus on today and things you can control. take a walk, cook something - anything that helps you feel more grounded. I like listening to audio books because sometimes I feel anxious when I'm trying to get to sleep and they help me think about the story instead of my worries.

@mamajite Hi Mamajite! Thank you so much for your response! It was horrible, driving all that way for it to be canceled. The drive didnt cause me the issue, the issue was not being able to see the provider and express my drastic anxiety about the possibility of malignancy. He seems like the right doctor, that is why I am not causing havoc as he seems extremely knowledgeable from his qualifications and reviews of his patients. Thank you so much for the links, I will definitely search them and become knowledgeable about the subject matter. I really appreciate in telling me to get my mind off of it for awhile, trust me I have tried but I also suffer from extreme OCD and one of the symptoms is impending doom. I always think the worst possible outcome. I am just so fixated on this, it is hard to not think of it. You should see how many window tabs on my phone and on my computer about this stuff. It would shock you to see how many I have. Like I mentioned to my other friend edivebuddy, thank you so much for your support and friendship! Big hugs to you.

@mamajite Good morning mamajite! I called city of hope and was able to have my appointment bumped up closer, Oct 9th, from nov 13th. A interm provider called me to ask about my symptoms and we discussed my situation. He was telling me from his experience in dealing with lung cancer for many years, overseeing my radiology report/scans, symptoms, location of leisons, he is 98 percent sure it will be a diagnosis of lung cancer. I was in complete shock to be honest. Still hitting me like a ton of bricks. I didnt sleep a wink. He brought the possibility of a cancer called multifocal adenocarcinoma but said that my leisons are solid. Most of the time with multifocal adenocarcinoma, the leisons start off as GGO ground glass oppacities, not as solid. My mind is still in a blur. How are you doing my friend? I am definitely worried about seeing the pulmonologist on the 9th and hear what he has to say. He also said, should get another scan in 3 months to see if new leisons formed, changes in leisons and such. Hope you are doing well. Ill keep you updated and others. Thank you so much
