This is my husband's post prostate surgery situation exactly. He just began RT last week (39 sessions), and while the MRI and Petscan revealed nothing conclusive, his PSA continues to rise. The RT approach will be broadcast in the pelvic bed where his prostate once was and we're hopeful (and prayerful) any microscopic cancer present is local and the treatment curative.

How is your husband had hereditary, genetic testing? Mine Wasn’t done until 12 years after my prostate cancer was First treated. At that point I found out I had a genetic problem of BRCA2. That’s why it keeps coming back. You definitely want to have him get that genetic test if he has not already done it. There are some treatments for people that have genetic problems.
