I was diagnosed with a meninoma in July 2025. I had been loosing the vision in my right eye. The placement of my tumor made it so they had to go through my nose to remove it. While I had some issues, a hematoma in the donar sight for my graft, meningitis, and getting the graft to seal, they were able to remove the vast majority of my tumor. Since the surgery, my eye sight returned, my sense of smell and taste returned. At my last mri there hasn’t been any tumor regrowth. The recovery was a slow process and it took over six months to return to normal. My wife was super supportive and so far I am as good as new. After the surgery while on lots of medications, my wife said I was talking “bubbles” but my personality and moods are the same as before. If there has been a change it has been for the better, I went through the wringer and thought I might die, now there isn’t much to top that and I have found things out of my control are easier to deal with.

Great news about the return of the eyesight, taste and smell
I am asking about behavioral and mood changes before diagnosis and removal.
