I had a laproscopic hysterectomy prior to commencing my chemotherapy for endometrial cancer. I was in hospital for 2 nights, everything went smoothly, but I too experienced painful shoulders and ribs from the gas they use to bloat the tummy for better viewing. Hot showers eased the pain in no time. Pain meds and chocolate helped 😘

@marina22 Im not exactly looking for to the abdominal or shoulder pain but I'm trying to remain optimistic and saying my prayers all goes well. Thanks so much for your feedback.

@marina22 I hope your doing well. Hysterectomy is around the corner for me and I'm gearing up for all the fun I'm going to have. Lol Hot showers are my thing and chocolate doesn't sound bad either. Have a great weekend.
