Many people on sites like this advised me to invest in a high-quality binder, and it was the best advice I received. I bought a really nice one from CVS for about $30. Before surgery, I did everything that 1995victoria did (food, laundry, bills), plus deep-cleaned my place, bought vitamins, and got an over-the-bed table and pillow for my back. All were very useful.
