Laproscopic hysterectomy: What helps with recovery?

My experience was similar to 1995victoria. Easier recuperation than expected. Sore but no real pain, some gas, took stool softeners, was able to eat. Also, I walked around the house, which was good for my muscles, GI system, and mental health.
