@judimahoney Bed sores come from prolonged retention of position or attitude, and by that I mean several hours at a time with no repositioning. I can't be sure, of course, I'm not there, but chances are good he moves some, and if he rises even for a few minutes he is getting better circulation. If you know for a fact that he reclines and makes no further movement for many hours, then yeah, it's a possibility. If he rises to void, that's about all it takes....usually.
