@gently Clinical trials that have shown medication efficacy are different. If a medication has had a successful clinical trial and approved by the FDA and subsequently prescribed to patients with good outcomes, there is no need to continue research on that particular medication. There are always new ongoing studies with other osteoporosis medications and would recommend discussing those with your provider.
