Your doctors are not up to date about testosterone. There are articles all over the internet pointing out that testosterone does not feed prostate cancer but instead controls it. A few studies are listed below:

@pesquallie My urologist was not a Mayo Dr. He was with Banner Health. I did switch to Mayo for care but not until 5 years after my surgery. The only Dr I was seeing was my GP. She agreed with all my research. My T at about 3 yrs was 275 and I felt useless at that level. I am also not the same patient as others. I convinced my Dr to remove my prostate with a 3+3 clean margins and a 1.0 PSA. 1 out 12 samples with cancer. Post op confirmed. I am 74.

While this is true in advanced cases. People who are newly diagnosed with prostate cancer benefit greatly from testosterone deprivation. It also may be true if someone has been undetectable for a long period of time and their testosterone has not come back to normal levels.

ADT dramatically lowers or blocks testosterone levels in the body to slow down or stop the growth of prostate cancer. Because prostate cancer cells rely on male hormones (androgens) like testosterone to grow and multiply, starving the cancer of this hormone causes the tumor to shrink or grow much more slowly
