You pose an interesting question. It will be interesting to see if other Members have experienced similar symptoms as yours.
In order to get to know you better, I'd be interested in knowing if you experience these symptoms at other times, other than when crocheting? How is your overall health? Have you talked with your doctor regarding the heart palpitations?

As far as the heart palpitations, my heart doctor told me several times that it was nothing to be concerned about. I had these same symptoms a few years ago when I was making jewelry. After about 6 months I became highly allergic to the chemicals in the metals. I had to give up my jewelry making and to this day I cannot wear any kind of jewelry unless it is gold or sterliing silver. Cannot wear any type of clothing with jewelry on it.
My allergies are more respiratory as I get aching in my chest & airway & start feeling really tired & lethargic. It can last for days.
No Doctor has been able to help me with this & it can get discouraging at times.
