About roughage, I agree. It has taken me a long time to realize that the holy grail of lots of roughage doesn't apply to everyone.

@berkhills Yes I really think that too much roughage does not suit everyone.I also have a linear prolapse of the rectum and too much roughage really causes more problems than it solves although the instruction is for plenty of roughage and medication to keep stool soft.I went to a pelvic floor phisio and she showed me the Bristol chart and told me to keep to the stool which worked best.
