@diane07710 I saw your note and I wasn't sure who you were sending it to as it somehow attached on my gratitude message. Sometimes this system trips me up. I'm sorry you are getting disrespect and tantrums. The only thing I can tell you when my husband did that to me. After telling him I was going to bash his brains in, he stopped that awful behavior. And when he does it again, I call him on it. Boundaries. I know that's not ladylike and certainly nothing anyone would say, but the way I said it, and did it, it worked and I haven't had disrespect from him again. But the challenge with this, is it depends what stage they are in, in their MCI and/or Alzheimers or Dementia and whether they even understand what you are saying.
