Hi @gopeder1, welcome to Connect. Thanks for the suggestion. Actually, I shared that post back in 2020 and one of my Connect friends recommended Gerbing men's heated winter gloves and I purchased a pair and use them when it's really cold outside. So far they have worked well for me when I'm clearing snow from my driveway.

I have idiopathic small fiber peripheral neuropathy and shared my neuropathy journey in another discussion here - https://connect.mayoclinic.org/comment/310341/.

Do you mind sharing what brought you to Connect? Have you been diagnosed with neuropathy?

@johnbishop Hi, it’s cool your a volunteer mentor. Getting up to speed here. Neuropathy brought on by chem in December 2025. I don’t have diabetes. Trying very hard to keep that out of the picture. I found this site digging into facebook and instagram. All those AI sites that promised paid trails were so annoying, however, I did find the legit government clinical trial site and this one. Just signed up to see if I can do phase one of Medicare’s sponsored use of the Walkisons. I will know in December when I will be one year out from chemo. I tried taking a prescription for one week. Not a good outcome so looking for other alternatives to walk and drive. Waiting on admin to see if they will let my post go through about accelera.
